The premise

The Embassy keeps the books. The Source Library makes them legible again.

For five centuries the Bibliotheca Philosophica Hermetica has held the primary sources of Western esoteric thought — Fludd, Böhme, Khunrath, Ficino — as objects. The Source Library has begun the slower work: translating them, page by page, into a living digital corpus with citations, DOIs, and full text anyone can query.

These components are the bridge. Each one takes a real Source Library endpoint and renders it as something an Embassy editor can drop into a Webflow page in under a minute — a rail of newly translated works, a citation block that footnotes itself, a gallery of alchemical emblems. The catalogue stops being an archive and starts being a surface the public can read.

This site is the showcase, the documentation, and the pitch at once. Everything on it is running against the real API, right now.
